Thinking of selling my E-4
Due to some upcomming changes in life I am considering selling my 2008 Fleetwood E-4 :( is there a market for a "new" used unit? $18k ? I have many extras including pux covers - equlizer hitch - genset - tv antenna - 2nd battery - do I include it all as a package? or part it all out? what do you think? Sad to see it go but it will just sit in the garage otherwise.
RE: Yamaha 2400is generator/13,500 BTU ac
I installed my new carrier 13500 unit a week ago. My new 2400 would not run it :( I hooked it up to the house power and let it cycle on and off for a day. Now the 2400 has no problem running it! :) I also have ordered a starting cap for it http://arnoldservice.com/compressor_hard_start_boosters.htm - supposed to make it even easier -
help me find a capacitor
I need a soft start capacitor for a carrier air V 13500 unit. What is the best place online to order one?
Thanks! :) my dogs will thank you too if I can get this to work with my genset.
RE: took the E4 out for maiden voyage this weekend!
The F150 pulled it nice. I'm not going to be passing everyone :(- but it has enough power to hold 70 on cruise.:B I did need to get some towing mirrors because this is one high and wide pup. I call it my pup on steroids.
Going from a class A to the E4 is actually a great thing! It was great to have the f150 to drive to town - and the E4 is wonderfull to camp in. I love the "tent" feel with the all or more comfort of my class A. The full kitchen and bathroom was :B

Camping on the old farm - free electric - old barn - sheds - and 80 acres to ride on - Best of all its free!

E4 was great to camp in. Of course I forgot stuff, but made due. I see many E4 trips in my future:C
RE: May Pop-up has a funky Smell
I take care of apartments for a living - college students - as you can imagine the apts smell pretty bad at the end of the year. One of the best ways I have found to remove all odors is to rent a ozone generator. I get it at a local rental store - put it in the room for 2 or 3 days with all the windows closed - the smell is gone. I would think this would work well to get " the funky smell " out of a pop-up.
inverter question
I have a 1250 watt inverter I took out of my last RV. I need a small inverter to run a laptop or lcd tv (400 watt?)in my new pop-up. Will the large inverter drain the battery faster than a small one - if the load is the same on either? Is it worth purchasing a smaller inverter, or should I just hook up the large one?
Thanks

Its big! 7' high with the A/C and 29' long folded up. (11' high and 36' long - setup)
here is a link to my album of pics E4 pics
Brand new and I have to mod it already :B My atv is a 2-up and is 3" too long to fit across the deck.(I planned on this when I purchased it) Let the fun begin!
In case your wondering - I'm having a new garage built next week - that's why it's sitting in the mud - broken cement - but at least its home!

I was told by Fleetwood the 1st run had a few yellows in it - sales were not good. The second run (redesigned front deck and ramps) will only have grey. There is several yellows out there.
